Modern Blackletter – Overwork

Description

Overwork is a modern blackletter typeface that combines traditional gothic structure with a cleaner, contemporary construction. It maintains the sharp vertical strokes and angular rhythm of classic blackletter while simplifying forms for better readability in modern layouts.

This typeface is designed for strong visual impact. The structured letterforms, compact spacing, and distinct uppercase presence make it highly effective for headlines, album artwork, streetwear branding, poster titles, and statement typography.

Overwork works especially well in music-related design, merchandise graphics, tattoo-inspired visuals, gothic themes, alternative culture branding, and editorial covers that require a dramatic typographic voice.
